Online shops with WooCommerce
WooCommerce is a free eCommerce plugin built on WordPress that powers 28% of all online stores. With over 27 million downloads it is now the post popular eCommerce platform on the web.
WooCommerce extends WordPress to give you all the key features of an online shop and is highly customisable either by developing custom features or by utilising existing plugins. Because it’s built on WordPress, you can either add WooCommerce to an existing site; or build a custom theme that gives you all the power and flexibility of WordPress.
Every good website starts with a brief, so that’s all we need to get started.
As an online trader, you will also need a method to take payments. You can apply for an Internet merchant account with your bank, or simply use a service such as Stripe to easily take payments (we really like Stripe).
Once we have a brief we like to get to know you better, this usually involves a Skype video chat but we can also travel to most locations around England.
When we know everything about your project we’ll produce a specification document with an estimate for the work.
If you decide to go ahead with us, we’ll do a little dance, then agree on milestones and deliverables.

WordPress has a very powerful plugin layer which allows us to build custom features for websites that can function outside of the theme. The advantage for this approach is that you can more easily switch your theme (look and feel) without losing or having to migrate that custom feature.
Having worked with Digital Arm for a number of years, I cannot recommend them highly enough! The quick turn around and high standard of work always leaves me and my clients smiling.
