WordPress Websites

Why WordPress

WordPress powers 28% of the Internet making it the most popular tool around for building websites with a powerful content management system. WordPress is fast, secure, scalable, highly customisable, and easy to use.

As designers and developers we love working with WordPress; by building custom themes our designs aren’t restricted and we can write fast and secure code by utilising the underlying WordPress platform which is actively maintained by thousands of developers world wide.

Getting Started

Every good website begins with a brief, so that’s all we need to get started.

Once we have a brief we like to get to know you better, this usually involves a Skype video chat but we can also travel to most locations around England.

When we know everything about your project we’ll produce a specification document with an estimate for the work.

If you decide to go ahead with us, we’ll do a little dance, then agree on milestones and deliverables.

Web Design

WordPress has a very powerful plugin layer which allows us to build custom features for websites that can function outside of the theme. The advantage for this approach is that you can more easily switch your theme (look and feel) without losing or having to migrate that custom feature.

We also develop and maintain plugins which we give away for free on the WordPress marketplace.

It has been a pleasure to work with Digital Arm. They are very attentive to our needs and consistently hit the mark on our projects (even with the challenging deadlines I give them!). In fact, they have been so good I am reluctant to write this as I don't want anyone else to use them.
